pantone, color advisers to the world, have announced the color for 2012.
it's tangerine.
tangerine tango, to be exact.
i've not loved the color choices for the past years, so i'm excited to finally have a color that rocks, or tangos.
can't wait to see how this color emerges in the design and fashion worlds for 2012.

yes, to the naked eye, it does indeed look orangy red, but let the professional color people describe the power of the tangerine.
Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.

i just wore a skirt that was this exact color.  could this possibly mean that for the first time in my forty three years i'll actually be in style?  probably not, but let me enjoy my small moment of pseudo glory.
