i start every new year with a mad cleaning, a symbolic gesture to toss out the old and welcome the new. i love the idea of a fresh start, the possibility of trying something new, and new beginnings.
this new year of 2012 brings many unknowns for us, especially in the realm of employment. as a planner, i'm no fan of the unknown, so i'm very grateful for my loving family, my sweet and supportive friends, and the wild and wacky wee cedri.
i also have insider info, and know that this new year has a few joyous distractions and an exciting adventure, or two, up it's sleeve, so i'm ready to dive in and see what 2012 has to offer.
my wish for the new year is to handle all that comes my way with grace, something i'm frequently lacking.
my wish for you all is that your new year be filled with the love of family and friends, with giggles and kisses, with oodles of good food and wine, a heaping dose of silliness, and lots of joy.
oh, and a pair (or two) of sassy new shoes.
